Newly appointed Rector of Timaru Boys' High School

Dave was born in Oamaru and unfortunately attended Waitaki Boys' High School. As a young man applied himself to a number of jobs including Freezing Works, Train Driver, Taxi Driver, factory worker.

In 1993 Dave saw the error of his ways and started attending Canterbury University on a part time basis. He completed his BA in English in 1997  and attended Teachers College the following year. His first appointment was at Palmerston North Boys High school (1999) followed by Wellington College (2000-2008), Timaru Boys High School (2009 - 2014) Deputy Rector, Wellington College (2014 - 2019) Deputy Principal). Dave is a very passionate Educationalist and very committed to Boys' Education.
